Went to the supermarket and got a pack of tizer for £1. Wish I hadnt, it is awful now, used to be lovely.

What else can you think of that has gone downhill over time?

For me, Blackjacks, Snickers, Hurlimanns Lager (now sub 5%), Mr Kiplings apple(core) pies.

Creme Eggs have shrunk, top deck shandy has all but disappeared, snowballs out of the bakers have halved in size and golf balls no longer come individually wrapped like Christmas puds.

Scampi flavoured fries (and bacon too) were rotten and stank, now they still stink but taste lovely! :D
I think tastes certainly change as you get older. I'll still never let mouldy cheese into my gob though no matter how cheerful it looks.

WagonWheels chocie biscuits used to be massive (well they were when I was 5) now they're about the size of a lego car tyre! And they taste like one to !

Totally agree on the Tizer, Medway. I bought a can the other day to relive some childhhod memories, and it was rubbish. Didn't seem to have as much body as it used to (well, I know what I mean by that) :)

I had a rant in Sainsbury's after they stopped selling classic jar Marmite in the medium size.
Marmite decided to re-package the most popular size in an upside-down squeezy thing.
OK...?...no because it costs a great deal more now.

Anyway, I told Sainsbuy's to inform Marmite that I'd now be boycotting their product.....

Interestingly, the old one has been re-stocked.....

How stupid do these companies think we are????

Make it smaller or re-package and charge more per lb./oz......doesn't wash in this household....

Ribena made the medium bottle the most expensive a while back. Instead of buying 24 bottles a year, I now buy NONE. ZERO.....

What next......only 9 Titleists for £25.....??

I miss Wham bars, Real Football, Summer, Saturday morning telly, music, fashion, Why Don't You?, Cars(Capri), Bikes(Grifter), Soda Streams, Captain Caveman.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be either.
I remember the days when I could reminisce for Scotland.

Modern life is rubbish

And what about the current version of that old classic, the Chopper.

Remember that rather dangerous gear shift. How we ever survived to have children is beyond me.

Nowadays it's just too safe. I mean you've not had a real bike crash until you've slid onto a Chopper gear shift lever at 25mph !

Christmas!

I'm sure the build up to it, christmas eve and the day itself used to be much better. Maybe it's me getting older and I'm told once my nipper arrives christmas will become fun once again.
