Watching the Rugger from Twickers and there's a bloody fox roaming around the pitch while the Anthems are being played. Shame we're not playing France - they always bring a Cockeral along. Would have made some good sport!!

not exactly a natural habit for a fox, reckon someone brought it in.

(have to admit, for a moment there I thought you were talking about the singer :o)

Re: There's a fox a Twickers...

Only interesting part of the match so far I Think!!! England not doing that well, Not playing as well as they did i the last 3 games, And The Scots are playing well, only downfall for the scots is the Scrum.

Come on England, Better 2nd Half Please!!!

Re: There's a fox a Twickers...

Not our best performance and if Scotland had a scrum or a lineout then we would have lost. Still, they always say that the sign of a good team is one that can win when playing badly.
I think that there will be changes next week. I can see Croft coming back in to the team and I can even see Wilkinson starting (he seems to be controlling the game better than Flood at the moment). After recent performances I would also at least bring Manu Tuillagi in to the training squad.

I think there was a fox for the Ireland game last year too, so I would assume someone has a strange sense of humour, or maybe a bet!

Re: There's a fox a Twickers...

The ref seemed to be a bit quick to call the advantage over.. England missed out on 2 or 3 penalties when the ref decided advantage was over when really none had been gained.

Imurg, Thats one part of the game that really bugs me,how long do you play the advantage for, seems ridiculous to me,just award a penalty straight away....

Yeah, sometimes you can get an advantage and make a score - makes for a good fast-moving spectacle but I think the ref called it too quickly a few times.

Re: There's a fox a Twickers...

I was there. Fox did a few laps before finding a door.

As to someone bringing it with them - I assume you are joking?

Game was okay. Tries were both good but generally a scrappy game.

At least it is England's name on the Calcutta Cup!

Snelly.
