Simon Pegg, Nick Frost etc in final 'part' of trilogy of their films following on from Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Oh dear.

Warning. Do not listen to those who will tell you how hilariously funny this film is - because it just isn't. It's so absurd it's not even funny for being absurd. And it isn't silly enough to be funny silly. Many who tell you it's funny are doing so because they think they should find it funny - because Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are funny. But it just isn't. Maybe 4 or 5 'reasonably big smile' moments in whole film. Save your money. Poor poor 95% poor. Nice Emperors new clothes though.

I thought this was gonna be a thread about actual world ending

I saw the previews for this and it did look a bit suspect. Glad ive had my views confirmed before I made the mistake of going

My son (21) thought it OK. But even he conceded it wasn't a patch on the other two films (which I enjoyed btw). The funniest thing about the film according to him was Simon Pegg's character - but only funny because it was so accurately observed as a 40 something bloke stuck in a late teens early 20s metal head time warp.

Caveat - I can be a grumpy miserable old git.
