Oh my word. Friends siad how good they are this year so thought I would switch on and see for myself.

ALl I could hear was loads of shouting and songs that depress you and make you want to end it all

And we pay a fee for that crap

I've never watched any of these so-called talent/z list celeb shows....
I don't watch them as I imagine they would sap every ounce of my will to live.
From what I've heard, I'm not wrong......

X factor and BGT I like- it's about entertainment and I AM entertained...as a famous gladiator once asked :smirk:

the voice I tried and found it wanting.........................wanting it to end before I took a razor to my nuts.

I do like Britains Got Talent though - some things I have seen on that have amazed me , made me laugh , feel sad and emotional and have been outstanding and made my hair stand on end

So we now know the winner was told to apply by one of the judges in 2012, this year same judge selected him from a so-called blind audition, selected him again in preference to other candidates and guess what he reached the final. BBC cooks the books yet again !!!

Isn't it a public vote ?

^^^ The statement was made during the programme! Pubic votes only after the judge(s) have selected their finalists - so a judge can/could or might fast-track a 'favourite'.

Well of course a judge is going to pick their favourites - thats the whole idea of the show, they pick people who they think have talent and could do well. When it comes down to final lot it then goes down to a public vote - the same premise as most of the talent shows.

He did have a fantastic voice though, bass to tenor without a blip, perhaps that may be the reason he won

From what little I saw [heard] I thought the more 'mature' lady was the best singer but the least likely to succeed...

Pleased to see a London boy win though particularly one that appears to have some ambition and is engaged with the 'real world'...

Terrible show, with terrible judges. X Factor is nearly as bad,but at least you get to look at Nicole:D
As for BGT,sorry but a dancing dog isn't entertainment.

The only way you could get me to watch that, or XFactor, or Britains got talent is if you held my eyes open with hooks in a sort of Clockwork Orange type scenario.

It took you until the final to work out it's that bad?
Can't stand any of these types of programs, they really do bore me senseless!

Cant fault the singers its all the tosh inbetween that's the problem . The final was on for 2 hrs but cut the crap and it should last 45 mins.
