Hi all just thought id let you know how today went.
Apart from being knackered,i never new how much the game took out of you physicaly mind you it would have helped if id hit it straighter lol.
The Golf was ok.Hit it fat a few times which i suppose is to be expected until the rhythm and timing gets back to normal.
The main surprise was my short game,i expected to be all over the shop but it seems to have improved(not sure how lol)must be the new wedges.
Putting was good 1 3 Putt the rest 2s & 1s.
So in all a pleasing day and gives me great encouragement for the coming season
The new clubs feel very good especialy the wedges which saved me a few times.
It was also nice to catch up with some friends up the course.Which to me is just as important as playing.

Id like to thank you all for giving me so much encouragement over the last few weeks and in your replys to my post previous to this.This to me is what this forum is all about.

It will take a few rounds to get back into it but it is good to here the short game has improved

I remember the feeling from 1996 when i did my back in, after a long layoff I was very reticent about giving it a good crack when i got back onto the course. I missed the best part of 3 months hors de combat.

The irons are i10
They feel a real solid club,very nice to hit although il know a bit more when i can take a fuller swing with them.
The tour w wedges are really nice clubs.

Nice one, glad they are working out. I was thinking the tour w wedges but not being able to try them actually put me off. New vokey's should be in next week now.
