Out for my daily walk today and realised I have not taken an ibuprofen since Monday of last week and my knee has not hurt since I last played golf, one of the longest periods of it not hurting in years.

getting to spend a lot more time with my 6 month old. She is literally changing everyday. Since I have been working from home in the last two weeks she has: Started weaning off milk, nailing her rolling over, sitting up unaided, sleeping in her own room. Feeling a much better bond with her too

Lost that weight that I have been promising myself to do for the last 3 years.
Not eating/drinking any differently, just smaller portions of everything.

Nice to hear.

One of my fears is when boredom eating kicks in. Trying to make sure there is only enough bread left out of the freezer for what I need for one day and slapping my hand in the shop if I reach for the cakes.

Early on I heard a doctor talking about keeping your immune system strong so I have purposely eaten more fruit than I would do normally, he recommended going big on vitamin c in particular. Not a bad habit to get into.

This was already done on an earlier topic, but I'm still not experiencing any up side other than saving money I'd normally spend on travel. Other than that everything is worse.

I have got the shed painted (two coats) and today I emptied the wood sheds, put a double layer of weed membrane down, leveled off the pallets that form the floor and restacked the wood.

Decided today that I'm going to buy a log splitter, far easier than a chainsaw and axe.

I also took the scarifier over the front grass. Will get the back grass done tomorrow.

My Vo2 Max has increased and i plan to step it up further this week. When you are on immunosuppressants and have asthma, you will do what you can to ensure you are as fit as you can be to fight off any nasties!

I might lose a bit more weight, but TBH the anxiety of the job situation when we eventually get back to normal life outweighs any percieved upside.

I've lost a bit of weight (and boy do I need to!) as I've tried not to eat too much during the day to make sure the food lasts as long as possible.
I think we're spending less as we're not going out doing daft shopping (my missus favourite hobby!)
I'm getting some work in the house done which I've desperately put off.
The course will be in fantastic condition when we get back playing.
I've not killed my other half yet. :devilish:

Back grass cut, scarified and cut again.

Back to work tomorrow for a rest. ?

Upside
Lawns cut, scarified, hollow tined, top dressed and cut again. Stone paths and 50% of patio pressure washed, flowerbeds hoed.
Downside
I'm shattered.
