Hobbit - discoving the "Shires" are not immune to the odd lump!! ;)

Sadly I've been playing through a longer list alone for nearly a decade.

If it's not going to cause me more harm, or slow down a repair, I just get on with it....aometimea I don't score well but the plan is to enjoy it ☺

Been out since my accident in March 14. After a simple fall I ended up with a whiplash type injury which almost paralysed me. Big op, long period of rehab but made it thru. Got CT San this week to see how bone has grafted to the 85mm of titanium mesh in my neck. Life goes on though. Only recently picked up a club and had a few shots to see how things felt. Need the warmer weather to arrive to assist in getting all my golf muscled functioning again.

Off to the physios tomorrow, hopefully still preventative currently, think I may have a trapped nerve again, if so hopefully it will be easily released. worst case scenario I need a decent sports massage!

Good to hear your recovering DCB, hope the weather speeds up the recovery!

Think it's time for you to be wrapped up in bubble wrap on a daily basis !

haha, thought I was holding up pretty well this year lol. Definitely need to shift a few pounds and get a bit stronger to prevent it more going forward, cant do another winter of the late nights and no exercise again next yr

Can't beat Pilates and yoga for flexibility and also core work then lots of leg work to build up the strength

Sounds like a plan. Often thought the same but work/life tends to get in the way and I tend to come home too tired to do anything.

Am slowly getting back to the gym, most of what Im doing is pilates type exercises for flexibility and strength, very little weights other than my hefty body weight involved! struggling to get back into it fully though, not helped by not wanted to exercise the day before I play so finding excuses not to do it (preferring to go and play instead!!!)

Its great currently not having my food cut up for me and only using a spoon to eat anything, but if you ever have to wear a hand or thumb splint buy some jeans with zips, buttons are a nightmare and nobody will help you :(
