The Tinkerman..

Definitely the club was different. The closure rate was delayed so all my drivers were a straight right. So I strengthened my grip and that improved everything.. shame I worked that out after 16holes ! I think I need to wind back a few swingweights as my previous set up prior to these changes was a bread and butter fade which made scoring easy around my course. I could hit a draw but never needed it and I had also a straight option. I just messed myself up with my irons … oh well another lesson learned.

I think good players overthink things in the long game.
Tying themselves in knots !
But chipping and putting is more down to feel so stays with you .

Back to basics is the best advice in all sport.🏌️
Probably right to be fair I’ve never put any real thought into short game it’s always been about feel. Back to basics is exactly what I’m going to be doing.

Re did the driver swingweight. Set it to C9 .. I can feel the head. So hit some balls down the range, all very good. So with that sorted I am happy and will now focus on my putting.
