Yesterday I played 18 in the morning with my regular gang, and in the afternoon in a 9 hole father and son foursomes medal with my 10 year old. Glorious sunshine (but cold!), and although it was a mixed bag we managed two pars and two bogies amongst some other shockers.

Does it get any better?
:D

My eldest daughter is 4 now and she can hit a golf ball quite well for her age but I cant wait until shes around that age. She cries when she cant get out with me on saturdays and has asked for a pair of "white shoes" for her next present as I told her that she was allowed on the practice area in her trainers but she had to have golf shoes to be able to get onto the big course.
Putting isnt her strong point!!

Probably not Canfordhacker. Especially if you play at Parkstone! Do you?

I don't play at Parkstone, but not sure I understand your comment... :D

Sorry Canfordhacker, if you misunderstood my message. I saw that you were based in Dorset and guessed that you lived in Canford Cliffs. Parkstone is one of my favourite golf courses, although there are other good ones down your way.
Good golfing

Miss miniRGuk has "camouflaged" trainers.....putting isn't her strong point either.....takes after dad!

I'm thinking some nice "Next" (tm) jeans might go down well on the course.....

rguk runs for cover....
