I know I'm a little behind the times here, think it finished in 2007!!

I started watching it on skygo a while back, got hooked and watched every episode, tonight being the finale.

all I can say is ARRGGGHHHHH :confused::mad::angry::eek::eek:

how can it finish like that?? My little brain can't handle the unknown. It was bad enough not knowing what happened to the Russian. But this??

Off to youtube for conspiracy theories.

There has been calls that the likes of the very excellent Breaking Bad is the best American TV show, but for me nothing touches The Sopranos.

Might watch it again!

My uncle in Ireland sent me over the boxset years ago. Watched them all. HID got me the boxset..Watched it again. When it came on Sky Atlantic I watched it again (Twice)...All in all I think I watched it all 6 times if not more. The more you watch it the more you get out of it.
Tony was a sick twisted individual who you just could not help rooting for. Nothing touches it. For me the best series ever made.

I agree, Sopranos was fantastic and just superb watching, we watched the box set over 3 months and nothing tops it. Breaking Bad took over my life for a month until we finished it, it was also fantastic telly but IMO not as good as the Sopranos but very close.

I didnt get the breaking bad hype, watched S1 but didnt bother after that. Sopranos was decent though

I think the only American TV series that I've enjoyed as much as The Sopranos was The West Wing, thought it was terrific.

I thought the ending was pretty good. Such a great series, loved Breaking Bad but nothing comes close to The Sopranos, really felt I kind of knew Tony. I was a bit late to the party and we finished watching it all about 3 weeks before James Gandolfini passed, I was genuinely upset. Was really weird as never had that reaction to someone passing I didn't know.

Loved The Sopranos, so much depth to it! If ever a man was made for a role it was Jame's Gandolfini, he just made Tony himself with ease.

When I fist watched it, the ending left me empty, but on re-watch I guess its kinda cool to make up your own mind.

On a separate note i'm off to NY next month and plan on doing The Sopranos tour. Has anyone done it, is it worth it?

Never seen the Soprano's, giving it consideration at the moment. West Wing was awesome, Breaking Bad also very good, got bored with Boardwalk Empire, but if you like your drama dark....... The Sons of Anarchy is fantastic - just watching the final season and it has gone to a very dark place....
