The Season Begins

Played from the white/medal tees today and boy what a feeling, all winter I have been playing very conservative off the winter tees, the wind etc has payed a big part, yet today because the fairways looked so long and inviting I let it rip and straight down the middle every time, what an amazing thrill. Think because it was so long compared you have to really commit and follow through - with good results.. roll on summer!

Can't wait for the fairways to dry out so can get some extra length from the tee. I'm so over mushy fairways that want to eat your ball.

Roll on summer indeed_The notice board is filling up with competitions to enter, cant wait to get going and as always at the beginning of summer I am full of optimism for the year ahead.
