Quite by surprise I was presented with The Golden Chipper for coming top at the Lincolnshire meet. I will be arranging the next event with The Chipper as the prize and I am sure that it will be played for at Forum Events for years to come.

ah, I don't quite see it in the same light. enormous pride obviously in winning such a prestigious trophy but it's also the kind of trophy that needs to be moved on (so that you can invite your golfing buddies round again )

will we ever see a golden chipper event on a foreign field

A shipwright for the plinth and Father Christmas for the gold spray.
