After my other post, went up and had a look around, never played it yet but going to Wed`s night.
Anybody on here played it?

When I lived down near you this course was built and it had a fearsome reputation , puerly because of the length off the back tees. Also I seem to remember an awful lot of water came in to play. I never got round to playing it as I moved soon afterwards but would have loved a pop at it

I was a member there for a while but left because a certain group of members who always liked to play together kept crossing my name out when I put it on the competition board so that they could carry on playing in their own little group. Other than that it was alright...

Fantastic course, superb clubhouse and proshop facilities.
I played there newyears eve this year. unfortunately it was frostbound and very tricky to play. Greens were rock solid.
There was a lot of water and one particularly spectacular paer 4 SI 1 with a huge lake in front of the green.
I play off 10 and found it tough off my hcap, and the wife plays off 36 and found it equally tough. In short it suited us both.
Looking forward to trying it again in better weather.
If you want 12 month of the year golf without temp tees and greens, this one is fantastic.
