The Phantom of the Open

I know we've had a lot of book threads on here but if you aren't really aware ofthe story of Maurice Flitcroft (or even if you are) then you really must read "Phantom of the Open"

I've just finished it having not known much about the story and it really is on of the best golf books I have ever read. Every golfer should read it.

Indeed, 121 in an open qualifier for a guy who had never previously played 18 holes is actually quite good.

Read this book two years ago, think I mentioned it recently in a post, really can't recommend it highly enough, glad someone else has enjoyed it.
