i played this course yesterday. i did't know what to expect as i've recieved mixed reviews.

the course was great and considering its january, in amazing condition. i dont know why people slate this course because it has alot to offer. i did find it soul destroying at times as no matter where you look there is danger and every shot has to be well thought out. i lost count of how many times i hit the green to see it slowly running away into HUGE bunkers. but.......what a course. Cant wait to go back in summer

I've played the PGA 5 times now. All at different times of the year. The greens where rapid everytime. You have to hit the fairways, the rough is about as penal as it gets.
A couple of long Par4's but most Par5's are reachable in two. No real standout holes and a real fight the whole way round.

Have a crack at the 14th Par4 dogleg right. The green is very reachable from the tee.

When I played th PGA it chewed me up and spat me out. Lost so many balls it is unreal, was playing badly and all under the watchful eye of MikeH. Hit one decent shot, par 5 near the end (cannot remember the hole number) was in a very deep green site bunker (wall well above my head) hit a sweet lob wedge straight into the hole for a net 2 on a par 5.

The 12th Hole, tight drive on the right hand side, very open left. Muuuhassive bunker catching your sneaky drives on the right.

Played it quite a few times but never put a good score together, it's not an easy course.

It's always in great shape but I find it gets a bit samey in the middle where you have several very similar par fours.
