Any tips apart from 'Go for the 17th green in two!'



What are peoples thoughts on the course? Anyone played it recently? If so what's the condition of it?

Erm.......I never quite know what tips people expect from these threads.

Keep it on the fairway, out of the lakes, don't 3 putt, halfway house is decent.......and go for the 17th in 2

Ha! Should have expected that I suppose!

The 17th in two is what seemed to be referenced in every post on google that I found!

Condition if anyone has played recently?

Got back from there yesterday, had a 1 night, 2 round deal. Firstly, all the staff, hotel facilities etc were top notch - the dinner was fantastic, breakfast OK.

It's the first time I've played there - the course is in great condition. Only area that could do with a little TLC were the tee boxes, which were looking quite tired. Not unexpected at this time of year for a resort course I suppose, and they were flat so not a problem really. Fairways, bunkers, greens all in good nick.

As D4S has said, keep it in the fairway! I found far too many bunkers, and the the long rough is punishing. Very lucky if you stumble across your ball. There's some great holes, you will definitely enjoy!
