Grabbed a 4ball for £100 slot here today - drive over from Swindon and absolutely hammering it down all the way. Amazingly, once we got there, the rain stopped and we played the whole round with a keen breeze but without a single spot of rain.

The course is in absolutely perfect condition, firm and dry as long as you only step foot on the tees and greens!!! The walking areas between the tees onto the fairway are very boggy - lots of puddles on low parts of the fairways too, but plenty of dry spots to take relief if necessary.

I know a few are taking this deal in the next few weeks or so - well worth the £25 considering the amount of places that are shut! Don't wear your best shoes is the key bit of advice!!

Quick rules question.......if the water hazard overflows and water is beyond the margin of hazard - if your ball then comes to rest in the water but outside hazard lines - is that hazard or casual water.

Can't get rules on my iPhone, anyone got quick answer?

Outside of hazard line I would say casual water. If u land on sand but outside the bunker you are not considered to be in the bunker.

I also played there today, greens were in great condition but like you said very boggy in between.

Impressed with the score and the condition. I posted on here that I found it very wet when I played so kudos to the club for making vast improvements to the drainage and for £25pp it is a bargain
