Have these been decided yet? Been lucky enough to be invited to hospitality but we are wondering what time to head off. Probably close to 4 hour trip from Glasgow.

Any info and tips welcome- have never been

It says 8.15am 1st tee. We've been planning it as we are staying in Liverpool and aiming to get there about 11ish and wondering around the course and then see the final groups tee off. Scottish open finished about 7.30 before the play off yesterday so I'd imagine the tee times will be similar.

Not sure whether to stand on a hole, follow a certain group or just wonder round and then catch the last 10 groups come in on the 18th?

If you plan to get in the stands at the 18th, get there early on or be happy to wait in a queue and possibly not get sat together with your group. I tried at muirfield and ended up having to stand under the stand and not see much.

I like to follow an earlier group around for a few holes then pitch up at a stop and watch a few groups come through then follow another group on. Then end up at the 18th some time ahead of the final groups to get a good view.

Yes will aim to get to the 18th well ahead of the final groups, not too bothered about being in the stands just want to be able to see whats happening.
