Got mine as well Paul. Old and Jubilee for 28th and 29th April. £250 a skull is some price but it will be worth it for the guys in the group that havent played it before.

I was due to play last November until I found out that you have to carry an astroturf mat and play every shot off it on the Old Course from 1st November.
Cancelled when I found out, no way would I do that anywhere on a grass course.

Yes I've heard about the mats. I know what you're saying but at the end of the day it's about the whole St Andrews experience for me. Will go back in the summer at some point.

My brother who was a club member long before me tells people how he played The Old Course back in the 80s for something like (if I recollect correctly) about £15.

How does the ballot work? Is there a deadline each year and if so I take it I have missed it for this time?
