The changes look like improvements across the board. I don't think any golf course is worth 195 sheets though.

I played the old layout and loved it, certainly would like to play the revised layout. Every report I have read suggest it has been improved.

Value is in the eye of the buyer. Some people would pay £300 for a driver without batting an eyelid but baulk at a £50 green fee.

I've played it many times before the alterations and it is a fabulous course. I have also played Trump International at Balmedie which is nothing short of fantastic. If you put the two together than I think Turnberry will be superb. It appears that the £195 green fee is for a hotel guest during April whilst a non-resident is £250 in the summer.

Been once nearly actually 30yrs ago. Would definitely like to try it again. £195, not too dissimilar to the other Open venues.
