.... and it's the colour I would have selected if I had ordered one

whilst i will post a review in due course, when I have an informed opinion, initial reaction is that there's some clever design elements around the hood fitting, stand lock arrangement (to use on cart) and it's impossibly light.

I was expecting something smaller to make it an 'ultralite' but it's clearly capable of handling 14 clubs rather than a half set, looks as if waterproofing is the name of the game (well it states waterproof a few times as well as looking waterproof in all the right areas)

did I mention how light it is?

time will tell if the strap arrangement works for me, and how well the overall build quality and materials cope with the real world

initial impressions are fantastic; and a further big thank you to both Sun Mountain and GM! :)

just for you I released the locking strap - but they didn't move.

so I pressed it down on the plate and they swung out into position and it's very stable - pick it up and they fold up tight to the body and stay there

1. the bags so light empty I needed to initially set the legs by pressing the bag down - with a few clubs (3) it was fine.
2. the legs themselves are ........ so light (there's a theme here) that they are easily held tight against the bag by the mechanism and stay there.

another plus...

After a bit of a delay (thanks Paul for chasing it up) mine has arrived this morning.

First impressions are good, a very snappy leg release when put down and comfy carry straps. Plenty of room for a full set of clubs.

Fully loaded for the weekend although the forecast is sunny for once!

I wonder if sun mountain have improved the strap system. I found that when carrying the inner edge of the straps bears all the weight and the seam starts to cut in. Also the one bit they forgot to waterproof was the strap padding material, so when soaked this forces damp through even the best waterproofs onto your shoulders. Also the design of the ball pocket means that when carrying the opening of the zip ends up withballs dropping out andyou need to take the bag off to fasten the pocket.

Saying that it is a very good bag, though due to how lightweight the legs are they bend very easily, but also bend back just as easy.

On the cart, ive found movement hard to restrict ict, but when carrying it makes no difference.

Even with the minor design faults the functionality of the bag is great, and is great inthe rain.
Enjoy your bags folks.
