As I understand it, this years Masters will be shown on Sky Sports after years of the BBC having the rights. Does anyone know if BBC have highlights as I have recently cancelled my Sky Sports subscriptions. Do you think it will be better on Sky?

It will be a lot better on sky, apart from the ads. Par 3 comp and i seem to remember they have been allowed to show extra coverage of the main event. Presumably money talks even at Augusta these days. ;)

Shame really, love my sky but Sky dont come close to Peter & Sam!

Peter is a legend, a man of great honour, I'll have you burned at the stake for darkening his name Mr Dodger!

As for Sam, cool as beans!

What comes out their gobs is what beans produce....hot air and usually stinking at that.

Give me Sky anytime.

Like Peter Alliss's commentary, no time for Sam's commentary although he seems like a good laugh according to Devid Feherty's book I just read.

Sky guys are good but they lack a little 'je ne sais quoi' that Peter Alliss possesses.

I agree although I'd love to see Ken Brown join their team

Yep. Sky Coverage + Ken on the Course = perfection.

I used to like Alliss but recently he's become a self parody. BBC need some new blood. Thing is I can't really see who would take Alliss's place and maybe that's why he's been kept going for so long. I think Ken Brown and Wayne Riley are great on course guys but I don't see either of them being so good from the studio. Wayne Grady and Sam Torrance make some good points but both are a bit dull in my view and I don't really see them as being up to the role of chief commentator.

Never mind getting some new blood, getting some more golf would be a good start. Never gone for SKY, so I guess it will be off to the pub on Thursday and Saturday!

I'd like to see ken stay at the bbc and take the mantle when peter allis hangs up his mike. The ken on the course pieces are great and I like his commentary too. Just been reading some articles about him when he played in the ryder cup, it seems our ken was a bit petulant in his younger days.
