The M25!

How do,

I am playing in a comp which is just outside of Westerham I believe.

Halliloo Valley Road
Woldingham
Surrey.
CR3 7HA

Are we likely to hit bad traffic on the M25 on a saturday morning? We are travelling from Sunny Birmingham? I have only travelled the M25 for business (week days)

Should be OK on a Saturday to be honest. Every time I've used it at the weekends it's been relatively pain free.

Unfortunately the M25 can become a nightmare at any time of day or night... Its the nature of the beast... To the best of my knowledge there are no ongoing works on the southern loop towards junction 6 from J16 which is where I am assuming you'll be joining M25 [unlike the north section]...

No problems for me and it's a regular route I take midweek and weekends down the M40 from Coventry and around the M25 into Surrey.

They are doing major works between 5-7 with average speed cameras in place. wont be bad though on a saturday morning. I always turn up places early anyway, if google tells me its a 2hr drive, i give my self 2:30. Cant stand being late for anything!!!

Those road works - and the 1st Av Speed Cam - are (well, were a couple of weeks ago) about 3/4s of a mile before Junction 6. Along the A22 to Ann Summers roundabout and 5th/last exit. Pretty much follow your nose from there from memory.

As others have posted, M25 is rather unpredictable and Saturday is 'amateurs' day.

I went round them Thursday morning.. in all honesty it was that early i cant recall where they started! i know the ended at the M20 interchange... was at least 8-10 miles before that they started though,,

Anyway, saturday should not be an issue..
