They closed the M25 once when a tanker full of yorkshire pudding mix got spilled. That was 4 1/2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

I suppose to use it to go to Woburn next year. Seriously thinking of going M40 (on at Maidenhead) and then going cross country later on. Otherwise, M3, M25, M1. Fancy that loads on a Thursday rush hour

For us coming south, it's either the M1, or, across the M62 and down the M6.
Both are nightmarish.

When I went to Woburn recently it wasn't the MI that was the problem it was the M25. 40 mph speed limit for miles which was a joke as all four lanes were parking only.:angry: Never again in rush hour.
