Now I know we've had quite a few TV threads, so here's another one..

Is anyone else watching The leftovers? I'm 5 episodes in and for some reason I can't stop watching it. I'm not sure exactly what is going on and it does appear intentionally mysterious at times, but it is absolutely absorbing..

It's an American TV show that is possibly the least American TV show I've watched in a long time. The pacing and storyline are much more European.. The casting is very American, but it's not detrimental.

The major plus point for me though is the soundtrack. It's quite possibly the best judged accompanying music I've heard since Pulp Fiction.. From Max Richter to James Blake, with Stevie Wonder in the middle..

If you haven't seen it then I would recommend it.. Currently on Sky Atlantic.. :thup:

Aye, but if you read the reviews then the bad ones are mainly from people who like having every last detail explained to them.. I can't be doing with being spoonfed entertainment designed to disengage the brain...

I'll probably start watching it after season 1 as finished,can't do with having to wait for next weeks episode.
Gotham might be worth a watch,starts Monday C5 9pm.

Yep - 3 episodes in and liking it so far - if not fully understanding it!! Not like me to be so ahead of the game as only just discovered 24 and Greys Anatomy which are both excellent too. Mind you having started on the last series of 24 and moved back to the first I can see why I didn't like it when it started as the acting (and no doubt budget) has improved massively...
