Just noticed that a couple in Edinburgh have been jailed for wrapping bacon on the handles of a mosque door, while i am against this kind of behaviour i wonder if our justice system panders to certain religions.
Proper crimes going unpunished like burglary and theft, road traffic accidents and dangerous driving.
I don't recall anyone being jailed for burning poppies either, utter madness.
can of worms i know

I can't condone this behaviour but I bet if another religion had done something equally crass, the courts wouldn't have been so quick to issue a jail sentence. Just the way this country seems to be these days

Both members of the Scottish Defence League

Planning to attack an mosque because "they can go where they want in their country"

Feel sorry for the child

Place Is prob better with them off the streets

I have a lot of faith in the integrity and 'fairness' of the Justice system - certainly more than in the integrity of, even most BBC, reporters.

And it's the detection of burglary and theft that is the major problem imo, not the punishment - which does happen. Detection is a Police matter, not a Justice one!

How exactly is a road traffic accident a crime? Though there are certainly road traffic crimes - which do get punished!

Been a spate of deaths down here recently caused by dangerous driving, not one custodial sentance
