Hi, im a final year student at Bournemouth University studying for a BSc (Hons) in Sports Management (Golf). I was hoping you could fill out my dissertation questionnaire on The Impact on Golf's Participation and Perception Due to its Inclusion in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Any help would be great.

Done it for you, best of luck with it. Mine will be easy to spot, I'm the one that thinks golf should be nowhere near the olympics. Or if it really must then do something different with it. Not the same 72 hole strokplay boreathon with the same players we see week after week after week after week (repeat until bored stupid......)

Going to take a wild stab that a lot will think that

It's also the answer I gave

And if it must be then it must also be Amatuer only

What? Like Athletics, Tennis and Cycling or even Football which is only age restricted.

Personally I am indifferent to the idea of its inclusion but plenty of other sports have been included and if it is then surely it is best if it is contested by the best.

I cannot, however, see that it will have much effect upon participation levels, either male or female.

I wouldn't have tennis in the Olympics and would have the Football and all under 21's

Sports in the Olympics should be the pinnacle for that sport

Believe if it was Amatuers in Golf that it would possibly be the pinnacle - Pros IMO would have it below the majors - same with tennis.

Done. I think it has the potential to spark interest in some areas like South America but it's still going to come down to accessibility and sadly in a lot of countries that is down to the haves and have not
