They're really going over the top with Rory. The commentators are having a real love-in. Of course the moment Tiger's back they'll dump him.

He has been hitting a mean ball though - and that 361 was a mishit! offline and through the trees

I actually feel sorry for Rory, you can see when the cameras are on him that he's enjoying his golf loads, but he must be starting to feel the weight of expectation that is being put on him.

He reads the news, i dare say he probably reads forums likes this every now and again if he's bored, and he knows that he is being bandied about as a serious (proabably the most serious) contender to Tiger's throne....all this and he is only 19!!

Dear god, i really do hope he the mental ability and toughness to cope with all this pressure, and i hope he has in him a management team that look out for Rory's best interests because, undoubtedly, he is an unbelievable talent, but its not right seeing his name thrust about in every direction like it is now.

Give the lad a chance....
