The Heathland Golf Classic

Hi All

I just finished playing in the Heathland golf classic yesterday and I thought it was very under advertised this year! It was a three day aggregate 4BBB played at Notts Hollinwell GC, Sherwood Forest GC and Lindrick GC. All three are unbelievable tracks, and I have to really give a big hand to Sherwood forest GC which in the pouring rain was in great nick they even had members volunteer to be spotters and squeegee the greens.

We had a really good three days, played with some top blokes, plus walked away with a few hundred quids worth of goodies/vouchers all for £150 (which wouldn't even cover the cost of the golf at these three top courses!!!) Thoroughly recommend anybody enter this!

As you say, 3 top quality courses. Do you have any details.....web link perhaps? Something I might well be interested in seeing as Notts is the only one I've played.

£150 to enter I think they said the 2015 entry goes live December time! it was brilliantly organised as well everything ran like clockwork!

I also forgot to mention it was sponsored by Mercedes this year so everyday on one of the par 3's there was a chance to win a years lease on a C Class which somebody got on the first day!

there are a few of these about now Notts one you've played in a yorks ryder cup, midlands, wiral classic, southport links all are listed on golf empire IIRC.
