Well. We're on our way. 7 of us played at Boat of Garten today and well worth the trip it was, too.

Teed off at 1300 due to rain. But a cracking day. Bit of sun, bit of rain, no wind at all, pleasantly warm. Put in a fiver a skull for 1st,2nd,3rd and Mr dave Canavan ( off 7) took the spoils on 35 points. 3 on 32 points. Worst on 28. So a decent steady practice round.

Met up later with Vig, Viscount17, Smiffy, Ray, Whereditgo, Grumpyjock & Forefortheday for beers and banter.

Viscount met via Castle Stuart where he wandered around and was blown away. We are on for a treat, boys.

Some photos of the Boat follow. Tomorrow apparently not so good but the weekend great and even warm.

Just in from a club and a wee bit squiffy. Did I tell you I loved you all? Where's ma skis?

Proof it was sunny.

What a beatiful course. Maybe not the best on this iPhone camera but will look better on my main one when I get back.

Oh, I get the impression the game tomorrow at Spey Valkey may be hard fought in some games. No concessions for some perhaps. What fun !

See y'all soon.

Yours in Kummel

No chance of snow, thank God, Dave. It's way too warm. Really.

Early morning weather report from Aviemore. Flat calm but 100% cloud. Looks like rain later but it's warm and we all have buggies. Should be ok for the game later today.

My team are ready for the off and some are even taking a swim in the hotel pool! I'm sure a few are on the phone to their mind coaches as we speak !

Photos later if I have any coverage.
