Today was our reward for winning our scratch league...we were taking on the winners of the other 4 North East league winners in a 7 man team event with 6 scores counting.
Unfortunately due to various guys being on holiday,working,injured or just plain not fancying testing their games on away soil I had a depleted squad out today.
We managed a 6 man total of 464 a full 24 shots behind the winners and 5th place.
On the positive note going into next weeks Cup Final against out old adversaries the 3 young guns are playing great,our dependable strongman is back from holiday and the old fella that makes up the 5 man team hit it great today and was only whinging about his 7 3 jabs!
On the whole today was a great day out on a decent enough track and I am still confident of becoming the Double winning Captain at tea time on Saturday.
