Just been having a hunt around YouTube watching a few pro swings etc and came across Homer Kellys golfing machine and all I can say is WTF!

I now know its physics based which is supposed to according to the intros meant to make it easier but my god I'm confused. All talk about position 6-3-1-b-3, accumulators, loaders and pressure points must make it more complex than attempting a Rubix cube after a night on the absinthe!

Is it simpler than what i'm watching, does anyone use it or just understand it!

Book apparently caused quite a stir apparently first published in late 60s. Principles haven't really changed, even though equipment and practices have. Shows to me that it was basically sound.

Firstly, it's more Engineering than the Physics, though, as Sheldon might say, Physics is everything and everything is Physics.

And I see it as more a Framework than a Method, though there is plenty of teaching in it and quite a few Trainers have used its principles and developed their own method. Others (particularly Jim McLean) seem to want to attack it, but that may be for self-promotion. This guy http://perfectgolfswingreview.net/ simplifies it - slightly, though he states that he has moved away from Kelly's model.

TGM is for golf instructors really, it'll do nothing but fill your head if you try to apply TGM to your swing. You don't really need to know which power accumulator you are firing (and in which sequence) as that's the job of your swing coach to look into, and yours is simply to hit the ball!! I would love to go to the US and get TGM certified, but it ain't gonna happen.

The ball flight (and understanding what influences it) is more important than the swing. If you set up to fail..... you probably will.
