The Glen Golf Club Open, North Berwick

I've only played it once, many years ago, but hope to get back for a game sometime.

Tends to be overshadowed by its more illustrious neighbour but a good course in its own right.

Was booked to play a couple of years back but called off due to snow. In April.

As FD says, it doesn't get talked about in the same way as some of the courses nearby but, from what people do say, it's a good course. Hope you play well.

It's a great wee course and one I love to play. Yes I prefer the west but I think of it was set in a different town it would get a better rep.

Enjoy the day, there's some good views on the way round, and I hope the wind isn't up when you get to the 13th.

Played it few year ago. Enjoyable and worth a return trip as said if it was in different town will have better reputation.
A group of lads I know is up there this weekend and playing in it.

One of my favourite courses in all of Scotland and was lucky enough to shoot 69 there in 2013. Always made to feel really welcome when I've racked up for a game too. Love the place.

Played there with a load of mates for my stag weekend, and really enjoyed it.

The turn for home sees a lo ely par 3 alongside the shore and the last two holes see the town below. I'd certainly play it again.

Played at Stirling GC today in their open today, well worth a visit if you're in the area, best greens I've played on all year.

Lovely secretary as well unless they have a new one

They do get really good greens in the summer but suffer badly in the winter

Did you end up short on the 9th? The massively downhill 2nd shot that for some reason does not play it at all

Ha, the first and only time i played there was a few years ago, a club member in my game pointed up to the castle above and said as a joke " do you like our clubhouse ".
I really can't remember too much about the course, except the h/c limit for entering their open was 12 max .

Played in Kilmarnock Barassie open with a member from Stirling who was heading back to also play in the open. He also said the greens were in amazing condition.

Got to love it, the clubhouse is the crappiest building in the surrounding square mile and that includes the greenkeeping shed

The course was superb and can't wait to play it again next year. Won't be hard to beat this years score :o

Some of the nicest views and prettiest holes on a golf course ever. Shame my golf today in near perfect conditions didn't do it justice.

21 points
