I was just wondering which is the most popular for forum golfers, or maybe people prefer to mix it up.. (also its very quite at work and I am bored)

I use Hippo, Cobra, Callaway + Cleveland & Srixon balls so quite a mix, I do have a fondness for Srixon though.

Ping Driver
Taylor Made 3 Wood
Nike Irons
John Letters Putter
Leyland Lob Wedge

Only use Titleist NXT Tour Balls though.

Nice mix there I think.

You really are bored at work!

Im counting the minutes till 3.30, feel like crap with a sore thought. I better be OK for tomorrow the weather is looking good and the fairway is calling my name.

I am slowly getting rid of my first cheap set of clubs I bought in the summer when I took up the game, I replaced the driver at xmas with a F series cobra and replaced the 3 wood with a 5 & 7 BB 2004 given to me, I test the Yes! putter and replaced the wedges with Cg12S... I have totally rushed it but have fallen in love with golf and want anything that might help me improve... such little confidence lol.

Ping Driver,
TM 3 Wood
TM Rescue,
Wilson Staff PI5 Irons (The Dogs Danglies)
Titleist Wedges,
Odyssey Putter.

& Titleist Balls !!!!

DHM.

As per my sig though im not brand loyal just for the name, if something comes along and I can use it better than my existing club ill give it a go.
I was a callaway driver man for years until my srixon came along, now Ive got the demo Mizuno from here, id buy it !

Even though I use Nike irons, and love them, I didn't tick Nike. Mainly because I think Mizuno and titleist make better irons.

My Ping G5 however I think is a great club, so Ping got a tick. As for balls... Titleist prov1x all the way

Currently have Nicklaus clubs but plan on getting mizuno as my next set.

Had a set of nike sling shots but got rid of them as i did not like them and it put me off nike clubs.(rightly or wrongly)

I am getting some irons in the near future and I am looking at either Callaway big bertha 08's or X20s, Cobra S9's, Ping G10s or the Srixon - I-601 but totally unsure at the moment, will pop down to AG when I have the cash and the time.

FWIW ive taken the 'matched set' approach which seems to be unusual amongst GMers. I was working on it being just one less variable in a game that has consistency at its heart.

don't get me wrong - i'm not for one second suggesting i'm right- clearly not but it's an interesting one.

Ping Raptures from PW to 3 wood (no driver)

Ping Zing putter

Callaway Warbirds are a nice compromise of a ball if you have to watch the pennies a bit.

I wouldn't buy Nike. Not because of the quality of their clubs or anything like that. I just don't like them. I don't like their ethos. They had no interest in golf until a certain T.Woods came along. They have no pedigree if you like.
They should stick to American sports just like Adidas,Umbro should stick to football and let Ping and Titleist etc stick to golf.

(I'm aware that Taylor Made is, in fact Adidas in disguise)

Again, my signature shows what I tend to use. What I will say is that I have given up on paying the massive amounts charged by Taylormade, Callaway etc and now quite enjoy looking for good kit on the cheap.

Ping Rapture Driver
Nike 4 wood

Ping I5 irons
MD Cobalt 52 + 58 degree wedges
Odyssey 2 Ball Putter.

Callaway wood and irons (custom fitted!) Cobra hybrid, Ben Hogan sand wedge (freebie as a thank you from GM) and an Odyssey putter.

As a point of clarification are you counting Odyssey putters as part of Callaway (who own the brand name)
