The Forum - no, not that old chestnut again - really!

Just wanted to say that since the avatar function has been fixed, the forum is really looking more colourful and 'friendly'.

I know it doesn't help with those that are trying to get away with looking at the forum at work, but I think it's already a vast improvement.

I'd also like to add for GM, that despite my reservations about the added forums, it all seems to work quite well now, as I've learnt how to navigate around the various 'rooms'.

Homer , you can now upload your own avatar , either from your PC or via a URL . The pic must be 80x80 in size or smaller

There are a number of free avatar websites, it's then just a case of messing around. I dumped mine into photobucket and played around until I got the right option from the four offered.

I have to say all the fast moving avatars are really quite frustrating when trying to read a post as they keep catching my eye! Hopefully I will get used to them though.

No need to do that Bob but the gesture is much appreciated. Yours was actually pretty slow and less flashy so wasn't really distracting.

Just to make it clear I am not complaining about this to make people change! It is just slightly annoying.

Maybe any post Hapless posts on should come with a warning to epileptics though!
