Yes MODS its in the wrong section but I was hoping it would be seen by the majority here.


I've been on this forum many years, more than the date beside my avatar indicates;) I've seen many January forums and they are all the same.:(

This time of year especially has most of us stir crazy! we would all rather be playing golf and reporting back about triumphs, disasters, failures and discussing kits and swings:thup:

The level of sniping, nit-picking and personal attacks increases in direct proportion to the amount of daylight and temperatures outside:rolleyes:

All I'm saying is, and it's directed at me also, is please take a second before hitting the 'reply' button to re-read what you are about to post, as with many a written word it can be misunderstood and before we know it a battle has ensued once again.



Right, back on topic. Whens the first tournament? Dubai isn't it? can't wait I'm starved of Golf:mmm:

Tournament going on in Hawaii this weekend, been some cracking golf. Final round tonight coverage starts at 9pm on SS4

As for the rest, Im reading and posting on far fewer threads lately as too many are just slagging matches, also deleted about 20 posts before posting to save joining the arguments, sooner Im back in one piece and can play again the better

the bit that really bugs me is the know it alls who refuse to listen to anyone elses opinions, once they post their view it has to be right and they will continue on the same line irrelevant of whatever else is posted. almost everything posted on here is an opinion not a fact, wish people would realise there is a vast difference between the 2

How is the Vale at the moment ? Possibly playing there next week

AVGC is a club that very seldom closes the course, never has temp greens or tees, however it was closed on Saturday :(.


What ya doing, who ya playing? It drains well and should not be shut long, not sure of the status today but HEAVY rain last night!

HID uncle is a member there so possibly having a round with him
 
I don't understand, we were open yesterday got a full 18 holes in played pretty well, though for some reason seemed incapable of 2point holes on the back 9 (weird) having scored nothing but 2 pointers on the front (normal), and in good company too. Even turned out I was chipping half reasonable (weird again)!
