As people try their best to help one another to stay safe and keep the property damage to a minimum, thieves manage to sink (no pun intended) to a new low; a group of men with a van were recorded stealing sandbags from a wall recently built by the council. It is known that they are council sandbags because they use a distinctive colour. The thieves have apparently been trying to sell them to vulnerable people who can't get out to get their own for prices from £10 to £75. It beggars belief. Only marginally less ridiculous is the fact that the BBC saw fit to pixelate their faces, presumably so that their human rights aren't infringed. Unbelievable.
