Did anyone watch the first part of the Enfield Haunting on sunday night?

Fantastic first part, cannot wait for the remaining two.

Has anyone had ghostly encounters?

I've had two, firstly when I was about 8/9 I was staying at my nans house and woke in the middle of the night to a white figure standing at the end of my bed, I wasn't frightened by it at all....it simply turned and walked away. Years later I found out my nan had a lot of paranormal activity in that house.

The second was staying at a friends house a few years ago, I was awoken in the night by what felt like a punch to the face and then a loud bang. A cufflink box had hit the mirrored wardrobe and was laying on the floor. I spoke to my mate the following day and it turns out the cufflink box had started on the chest of drawers in the other corner of the room......they'd had a lot of stuff going on since the birth of their son but he hadn't mentioned it as he didn't want to sound ridiculous. They ended up having the house exorcised after some months and its been all quiet since.

my misses told me of a strange one she had as a child, she had woken up and had seen a old man's face in the wall paper and was looking at her. This happened a couple of times more. a few months later her mum was going through an old family album and my misses jumped up and pointed into the book "that was the man in my wall paper!"... and it was her grandad who she'd never met.

Anyone who claims to have seen a ghost should be concerned they're not quite right in the head.

There are no such things as ghosts.

Enjoyed the programme, watched the last two episodes on demand. 'Barry' is a decent actor.

Never seen a ghost, however have had alot of strange stuff happening in our house since we moved in 4 years ago. I ripped the house apart and re done everything.

Could walk out the kitchen and back in 2 minutes later and the fridge and a cupboard doors would be open. Done that for around 2 years. Not had much in the last year though.

What channel is this on?

Have been out a few time with a group that was involved with Northern Irelands Greatest haunts.
Nothing major happened but a few things that couldn't really be explained.

Cooneen: On reviewing an audio recording there a sounds of tapping that were not noticed at the time of recording. No explanation for it and the levels should have been noticed in real time. Rapping sometimes to the rhythm of some songs was reported at the time of the original haunting.

There was also two stones thrown at force towards one of the team.

Another place with Richhill Castle. While observing a seance with a glass on a table I was listening to the live audio from one of the recorders that was mounted on a tripod. Appeared to get some responses in the audio when the glass moved across the table. Did a bit of enhancement to these later and there was what appeared to be verbalised response but it was not very clear. I put that down as likely pareidolia.

I did get to see a few video recordings from other sessions included one in a local house. All done on decent Sony HDD cameras. They were very hard to explain. Electro static interference on the footage at the same time as banging and the biggest thing was a banging on a door. The door was a double patio door and fully glass on both. Could see outside and no one there. There was one massive bang that cause the door to shake. Would have been very difficult to have faked it and these guys weren't out to do that.

When i was younger my parents swapped house with an older lady whose partner had died in the house. We lived there for 15 years or so with nothing overly strange happening, then my parents split up and a friend came to rent a room to help pay towards rent. From the day he moved in, odd things started to happen.Lounge TV turning on bang on midnight at full blast, cupboards opening and shutting, the dog barking like mad. At first we thought it was my mate turning the telly on when he got back from the pub or something but he stayed out a few nights and it still carried on happening. Soon after my mate moved out things started to get stranger and stranger, not only would the lounge tv turn on but my bedroom and dads room would also turn on, full volume. One night, my mrs stayed over and at midnight my laptop started plating music at full volume, so i turned it off and closed the lid on it. 10 minutes later and bam its back on with the laptop closed dow, still dont know how it happened, but we moved out of that house about 5 years ago and nothing has happened since, but the lady that bought the house off my dad was found dead in there a couple of months after moving in!
