After getting many eagles over the years, I finally managed to get one in a comp, holing an 8 footer on the par 5 8th hole at Kenilworth.

Nicely done wrighty :thup: I have had a fair few over the years but never one in a board comp or medal

I actually got my first 'true' eagle a few months ago at the end of last season .... I say true eagle as it was first one that I actually putted on a green to get .... have had loads previously by holing approach shots, and chipping in, even putting from 10 yards off the green too, but until I holed a putt from the putting surface I never really considered them to be true eagles (strange old head on these shoulders I know!)
