Just turned the IPL on and that Sooryavanshi is rather handy for a youngster.

He just hit two forehand tennis shots for a 6 and a 4, never seen anything like it.

He obviously just playing a containing steady innings after his 29 ball 97 a couple of days ago. He is on a Boycottesque 90 off 45.

Dunkley is just not good enough to open for this England side. For me she can’t be in the team for the world cup.

Really enjoyed the match today, a decent appreciative crowd with a good mix of support for the sides. The County Ground put on a good show.

Kemp made the difference with the bat after a solid but pedestrian first 3/4 of the innings.
Bell seems to over bowl the slower ball as she has good pace it seems overly risky.
Fielding was sharp in general but they put down some difficult chances.
They need more oomph in their batting, hopefully N S-B will give it.

Glad you had a good day sir, and always better when the home side won. They definitely performed better with the ball and in the field. Glaringly obvious what needs to improve, the rate in which they score. As you say, kemp was the shining star

Baz and Stokes are still being pig headed about how their methods are the right ones and there is no need for drastic change with how things are run and how England are training, etc. Hopefully there has been a change and we can have a positive result against the kiwis.
