Yes, The Clangers are coming back :whoo:

What childhood programmes no longer shown that you remember fondly would you like to see make a comeback?

Tales of the Riverbank - and not the 1970s reincarnation - was my favourite. And then I discovered Champion the Wonder Horse. Of Gerry Anderson creations - yes Thunderbirds - but Stingray was ace and Captain Scarlet quite scarily exciting

Can't believe no one has mentioned Muffin the Mule....;)

Another vote for Fireball XL5. And the early 60's version of Tales from the River Bank.... oh the memories come flooding back. Bill and Ben, the flower pot men. The Wooden Tops, with "the biggest spottiest dog." Noggin the Nog. Captain Pugwash... a long visit to Youtube is in order.

Given the roll-call of greats you give above, you'll probably remember my first memory of TV - Rag, Tag and Bobtail

Andy Pandy, Wooden Tops, Tales from the River Bank, Bill and Ben.

Favourite cartoon must be Tom and Jerry, the original ones.

Ahh the changers, I have a clip on my iPhone of my 2 yr old grandson impersonating the soup dragon ( episode where he gets a baby) it's priceless.

re programmes of old, banana splits and captain pugwash. Thought Skippy was awesome.
