Went and seen brucie again on Tuesday there and as usual he never fails to amaze me,even at 63 he produced the goods and played for 3 and a half hours.

It was the first time I have seen him play at Hampden but I'll never forget it,what made my night was hearing "rosalita" live for the first time and "I'm on fire"....not one of his regulars on tour but it was awesome.

But hearing "thunder road" acoustic at the very end was mind blowing, silencing 45k+ fans is something special.......

There was so many good moments and the song list as usual is brilliant,I'm guessing he played 30+ songs which is the norm.

I took my missus with me this time and tbf she is not a massive brucie fan in fact she gets annoyed at me for listening to him all the time and she loved it......

Love him or hate him the guy knows how to perform and put on a good show.

The best there is:D

Yep. Seen him dozens of times including 3 in New Jersey and 1 in Paris and never ever fails to amaze me. These days I don't go to multiple shows in a tour though so picked Coventry on Thursday as nearest to home. He played the WHOLE BTR album in sequence and it ws simply stunning...

He seems to enjoy it more every time I see him and it's infectious. Crowd around me were a bit quiet but I was in my own Bruce Bubble so sod 'em! Arena shows tends to be that you get a lot of curious "fans" who don't know his stuff but have heard how good he is live. BITUSA got them interested

The Boss indeed - love him!

As a tribute to James Gandolfini, yes?

The best live performer ever. I've also seen him several times going back to Born in the USA tour at Roundhay Park in Leeds. Anyone complaining about being tired should go and see the energy he puts into every show. The great thing is that he changes his set list on a whim and the last time I saw him at the Emirates he was taking requests on pieces of cardboard.
Do miss the big man though - how was the new band and does he still have the same rapport with the new members?

I too miss the Big Man and Danny but the new members fit in well and a horns section plus backing singers really adds to the sound and show. Bruce seems much more relaxed and into the crowd these days. Collecting signs and getting fans on stage. On Thursday a few got their wish to "dance with Jake/Steven" and one even to play Bruce's guitar. Best one was a guy with a sign "Bruce, can I have a man hug" and promptly got about 4 :-)

Saw him at Wembley Stadium a week ago, requests for about the first hour then a question for the crowd; We can carry on playing requests all night or we can play the Darkness on the Edge of Town album straight through, your choice. Crowd reaction ensured it was Darkness, nice tribute to the Big Man during Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, couple of ladies got up on stage for their dances, and he had a young kid up with him to sing on Waitin' on a Sunny Day, again finished with the acoustic Thunder Road, fantastic evening. He could teach a lot of other bands how to put on a live show.
