Finally got my Titleist D2 910 driver today and i can't wait to get out and use it but i'm back at work tommorow on 12 hour day shifts so i won't be able to use till i play on saturday morning when i give my old man a tonking i hope!

No chance of a range session beforehand? Just think of that first time you take the headcover off, peg it up and take a few practice swings. Address the ball, pick your target - and carve it into the trees. :eek: ;)

Joking apart I'm sure it'll be the start of a long term friendship and 300+ avergages.
 
As homer said no chance of even going to the range for a bash and 'tis a good looking stick though so console yourself with that. I ordered mine yesterday and feel like a kid waiting on santa, hhuuuuurryy up!
 
Dont do it, as Homer says, get to a range first, I havent hit my new MD F3 purely because it could be a card wrecker until I have become comfortable with it.
 
Maybe either tomorrow night or before i play on saturday.

Thats my usual shot on the first hole anyway as it's out of bounds all the way down the right so i play it safe and hit it in the trees down the left ;)

Well obviously i average 300 yards already so i'm expecting bubba length drives with it! :)

I had to wait 2 weeks for mine, when i did the custom fit i got told 5-7 working days max but apparentley Titleist were waiting on parts and had a big backlog of clubs so it took abit longer.
 
I couldnt bring myself to take my D3 to the range to try it out, those balls just didnt seem worthy !!

Been out a couple of times with it now, and while the first few were a tad dissapointing to say the least, I'm certain that is because Ive hardly played since October, and my swing is rusty to say the least.

Finally, on Sun pm, in not too good conditions, I got in the groove, and sent a couple of drives way out there, .....places where i'd be delighted with in mid summer, so on a cold Feb afternoon, with 3 layers on, I was delighted.

Enjoy !! Tis a beast of beauty........
