Hello Guys,

Just thought I would let you know at 1647 hrs today (20th) my wife gave birth to a little boy Harry.

Labour went ok, got to the hospitsl at quarter past 3 and he was born an hour and a half later. He weighed in 8lbs 15oz.

He was born @ The Spires Midwifery Led Unit at The John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. The department was excellent and the staff very helpful.

Mother and Baby are doing well, they staying in overnight (own room) but will be coming out 1st thing in the morning.

Off to bed now because I'm shattered!!!! Last night of unbroken sleep for a while.

Matt :)

Very well done to all three of you. It's funny how the labour always goes so well for the father!!

8lb-15oz, (we'll call it 16lb.) You should get extra paternity leave for that.
