Much heated debate has just taken place in the GM office as to one's prospects of breaking 100 with a set of junior clubs I have just purchased for my 4-year-old daughter for Christmas (secondhand goods off the editor)

You get a 3 'fairway' driver, a 7-iron and a putter that's 19ins long - that's even shorter than Robert Garrigus's.

Me, Tappers and Jim Mason reckon we could do it (we're all off 5, 6 or 7 - something like that); Mike, Alex, Westers and Tom say no way.

What do you reckon?

Let's say my home track at Crowborough Beacon - about 6,250, par 71. A bit concerned the carry across the gully on the par-3 6th may be a problem, but might find some way of playing round that

I stand a better chance of climbing Everest in fishnets with a grand piano strapped to my back guys!

Or more simply .... No!

Chris

clubs for a 4 year old, definitly NOT

clubs for a 7-8 year old you would probably do.

Do I feel a GM challenge article about to be appearing in the February (slow month) edition?

jezz, it depends on one crucial key factor. Will you be using a trolley or even a buggy to transport the said heavy items around a golf course.

LOL there's a 9 hole pitch and putt near me Bazil, always makes me laugh when I drive past seeing people pushing there trollies with full sets of clubs in the bag

NOPE CANT BE DONE, unless youre all 3 foot midgets

I'm not a 3-foot midget, and Tappers has already offered to caddie for me (looks great with the tiny double-strap bag on his back somewhere around his neck!).
