The best excuse you have ever given to play golf

Last week I was meant to be going out on a job in the afternoon but really didn't fancy it too much so I told the agent that I had a course to go on and wouldn't be available, obviously that "course" was actually a golf course. I was quite proud of myself.

What's the best excuse you have given to have a round of golf? Anyone ever got out of a family wedding or birthday bash?

I once claimed I needed to go to a book auction to bid for a 1930 copy of something out of print.

Sadly, I was outbid by a mystery telephone bidder.

This Friday I am playing Dalmahoy as its a 2 day work seminar and I "MUST" play with customers.

Oh, and on Sunday I MUST take 24 customers to Knockhill for the British Super Bikes ....
