Playing 36 holes today with the Aircraft Golf Society at possibly my favourite course.....:fore:

18 holes individual a.m on the Red Course followed by 18 holes Greensomes pm on the Blue Course.

Looking forward to probably the best 3 course carvery in the land!!!!!

Just waiting for my playing partner, the wonderfully entertaining PNWOKINGHAM to arrive for a bacon buttie........hope he remembers that it's long socks with his shorts..........might see about an inch of his knees today..... :mmm:

I bought long socks in the shop and then nearly got in trouble with the starter for them not "being knee length" until he fell about laughing about said legs being "very very long"

Probably the best day of golf in England! Both course and the lunch are superb and exactly the right length!

that something about Air Pilots. Played (at East Berks) as a guest some years ago. First time I saw someone (a Brabazon Trophy winner) nominate a shot and perform it exactly to plan. And he putted 1-handed, left-handed too! Captain of R&A a few years later too!

Very jealous.
