Just back from our first round club doubles match against the junior 'pro' off 4, his partner off 14 like Mr B.
We are 'defending champions' but I have had some miserable rounds lately, esp competitions.
Pleased to say I kept our side going on the front nine and we were 2 up. Didn't do much back 9 and handed them 15 and 16 - 2 down (Mr B not at his best today esp short game).
Then I miraculously holed a putt  to win 18.
Trudged round to 1/19 where mr B holed bidie putt (his first of the day!)
Feeling well pleased to have escaped defeat. A really fun and competetive round.
(Yes, I had a lot of shots, but I do need them!)

We're through!

The problem with these junior pros - they can't play all the shots in all conditions. They just play target golf! ;)!

Give him Peter Allis' number he'll sort him!
