It's that time of year again where myself and 3 mates take our annual trip to Scotland.

Driving up we leave on Saturday morning and will be playing Brampton on the way up. We stay in a house in Boat of Garten and have a round at Grantown on Spey arranged for the Sunday with a good friend who is was a member there and is flying over from Malaysia to meet us.

We'll then decide where to play based on weather but it will likely be the following, Kingussie, Spey Valley, Boat of Garten and Cruden Bay with Moray Old, Hopeman, or Nairn as alternative options should the weather not be too kind. We then head back home on the Friday and stop off into Carlisle for the final round.

Wasn't overly excited about a week of golf considering the awful slice I picked up since changing my swing, but after last Sunday that has all changed as I worked out the problem, so now very much looking forward to it!

This will be the 4th year I have joined the group and the weather has always been very kind to us, but with so many options to play we always seem to find somewhere to play with OK weather!

Bit of a self-centred post, but I'm very excited!

That sounds class woody!

Being a youngish lad in a small rugby town, hardly any of my mates play any golf so trips like this are a distant dream for me unfortunately!

Have a awesome time and good luck!

Nairn is closing for 3 days W/com 26th for hollow tine, so avoid then.

weather has been good up here the last 3 weeks with yesterday the first time it rained.

enjoy

Enjoy your trip. I'm hoping the nice weather holds till at least the weekend as I'm up that way for a round at Castle Stuart on Saturday.

Not a problem for us as I'll be miserable and back in the office the week they start that work.
