The Affair - Anyone going to Watch

2nd series starts this week. I watched the first and though it started well it seemed to peter out. But for the last scene with the two 'having the affair' seeming 'together' - I don't think I'd bother - but have set to record the series and let's see what Ep 1 brings us.

The wife watched the first series and wasnt overly impressed with it ,she said she isnt going to bother with this series.
we are waiting for another series of Forever.

Didn't appeal but I would highly recommend River on the BBC at the moment, Unforgotten on ITV as well.

I watch a few of the US series and the standard is very high. The tricky thing is there can be 20+ episodes in a series and that is quite commitment. Once you start watching a couple of those you get hooked in and you can end up watching more tv than is healthy for you. I know I am missing some good things but it is a bit like cakes and chocolate, I have to restrict my intake.

unforgotten is shaping up quite nicely .so many suspects.

We'll be watching it in our house, really enjoyed the first season.

Also busy watching The Leftovers on Sky at the moment, enjoying that quite a bit, especially the piano score that is used throughout.
